Purposes of Processing

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

Making a reservation or requesting a quote

When you make a reservation or request a quote via our website, we process your personal data. This is necessary to pursue our legitimate interests as a business, namely carrying out our normal business activities — registering and managing reservations and quotes.
Processing may also take place on the basis of performing an agreement with you, a legal obligation, or your consent.

Entering into an (employment) agreement

When you make a purchase via our website or apply for a job with us, you enter into an agreement with us or intend to do so. To perform this agreement, we need to process your personal data.

Improving our online services

When you visit our website, your personal data may be processed through cookies. This processing is necessary for the protection of our legitimate interests, namely operating our business activities and providing a properly functioning online environment.

Marketing

We may use your personal data to send newsletters, promotions or offers. We do so only on the basis of your consent or — where permitted — on the basis of our legitimate interests, namely carrying out marketing activities as part of our normal business operations.

If we process special categories of personal data, we will ask for your explicit consent.

If you would like to know more about our legitimate interests in using your personal data, you can contact us using the contact details at the bottom of this page.

If we intend to process your personal data for other purposes, we will inform you in advance. If required, we will ask for (additional) consent.

Your Rights

We may not use your personal data without limits. You have the following rights to restrict our use of your data:

  • If we process your personal data based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time;
  • You have the right to ask which personal data we hold about you and to access that information (right of access);
  • If the personal data we hold about you is incorrect, you have the right to have it corrected or supplemented;
  • In some cases, you may ask us to erase your personal data (“right to be forgotten”). This applies if the data is no longer necessary, if you withdraw your consent, if we process your data unlawfully, or if we have retained your data longer than permitted.
    This right does not apply where we need your data to exercise freedom of expression, comply with a legal obligation, perform a task in the public interest or in the field of public health, archive in the public interest, or establish, exercise or defend legal claims;
  • In some cases, you may ask us to restrict the processing of your personal data, for example if the data may be inaccurate, if the processing is unlawful, if the data is no longer needed, or if you have objected to the processing;
  • You have the right to object to our use of your personal data. If we use your data for marketing purposes and you object, we will stop using your data for that purpose. In other cases, we will also stop unless we have compelling legitimate grounds to continue;
  • You have the right to data portability. This means we must provide your personal data in a format that allows you to transfer it to another party. This right applies only if we process your data to perform an agreement with you or based on your consent.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you are not satisfied with how we handle your personal data. We do ask that you contact us first so we can try to resolve the matter together. You can reach us using the contact details below.

We will respond to your request within one month of receipt. Depending on the complexity and number of requests, this period may be extended by an additional two months. We will inform you within one month if an extension is necessary.
You can exercise your rights free of charge, unless your request is unfounded or excessive.

Third Parties

To deliver our services efficiently, we use selected external service providers who may process personal data on our behalf.

This includes systems for reservations, communication, customer service and virtual assistants that help handle calls, messages or bookings.

These parties act in accordance with our instructions and comply with the GDPR. We only share your personal data where necessary to achieve the purposes described above, and never more than required.

We may share your personal data with parties outside the European Union and will take the necessary measures to ensure appropriate protection.

Some interactions may be handled by AI assistants. You can request to speak to a staff member at any time.

Retention Periods

In some cases, we retain your personal data after it has been used for one of the purposes described above. We will never retain your personal data longer than necessary.

Security

3WO takes the protection of your data seriously and implements appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification.
If you believe your data is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact us at info@3wo.nl.
